Angus

Meet Angus, aka Gus, a handsome Hound / Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with soulful eyes and an even sweeter personality. At 10 years old and a lovable 90 lbs, this boy is a gentle giant and, at heart, a total baby. Gus is crate and potty-trained and does well on leash with proper guidance, which our trainer will provide. He is a mellow guy that likes relaxing, and is often nursing on his favorite stuffed toy or curling up on his bed. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and a confident, loving pack leader who can provide structure and reassurance.

Gus was found roaming the streets of Fort Lauderdale until one of our dedicated volunteers rescued him and brought him to Abandoned Pet Rescue. Since arriving at the shelter, he has been busy collecting stuffed animals and melting hearts with his calm, charming nature.
