Meet Mojito, the tiny fluffball with a big persona Meet Mojito, the tiny fluffball with a big personality and an even bigger commitment to naptime. 🤍🖤 This adorable medium haired kitten is equal parts playful goofball and professional sleeper. 🤵‍♂️💤

When he’s awake, Mojito loves chasing toys, bouncing around the room, and showing off his kitten energy. But once playtime is over, he transforms into the king of cozy. Seriously… this boy can SLEEP. Curled up in the softest spot he can find, Mojito naps like it’s his full time job, and when he’s out, he is OUT. Deep sleeper status achieved. 🛌😹

Mojito is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and impossible not to love. He’s the kind of kitten who will make you laugh one minute and melt your heart the next. Whether he’s zooming around the house or snoring through yet another epic nap, Mojito brings joy wherever he goes. If you’re looking for a playful cuddlebug with movie star fluff and championship level sleeping skills, Mojito is your guy. 😻💫💕

To adopt Mojito please fill out an adoption application at abandonedpterescue.org! 🩷🩵

Mojito is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and ready for adoption at Abandoned Pet Rescue – a no-kill shelter in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. 🌴🐾

Sweet Benji needs a new foster by July! ❣️ Please Sweet Benji needs a new foster by July! ❣️ Please help us share Benji again as he needs a short term foster from 7/5-7/15 or an adopter. ❤️‍🩹 If you don’t know Benji’s story, a few weeks ago Benji needed a foster placement to recover from a painful hematoma in his left ear. 🐶 He’s been healing in foster homes, so we don’t want to see him return to Abandoned Pet Rescue where he could re-injure himself.

We spoke to one of his fosters, Dianna, about what he was like in her home. Here is some of what she had to say!

“He’s literally the best dog! I think he could do well in an apartment, but it would need to be a much bigger apartment. I do think a home would be ideal for him with a yard. He’s super social, he was good with everybody that he met. He got very excited about cats and really was barking so I don’t know if he’s good with cats, but as far as my space he was just wonderful. He didn’t tear anything up and didn’t try to get into anything at all.

He’s just a big snuggle bug. He slept with me on the bed every night and just wanted to cuddle and hang out, he just wanted to be by my side all the time. He wants to be on walks and be outside all the time. He just is a really really good companion. He just wants to love you and he’s just he’s the best dog I’ve ever had in my presence! He never barked at anybody. He’s just very in his element and outside noises didn’t really ever bother him at all, the only time that he did whimper is when I left the house which is normal. I really have no notes other than he’s just great, and he really just wants a best friend to take him out and be by his side regularly.”

Thank you Dianna for fostering Benji and sending us footage from his time with you! 💕 To foster Benji, please fill out the foster application on our website, abandonedpetrescue.org/foster/ 🩵🩷 thank you for sharing to help this sweet boy find a loving forever or foster home! ❤️ Abandoned Pet Rescue is a no-kill shelter in Fort Lauderdale, FL. 🌴🐾

Celebrated on the third Monday of June, Take Your Celebrated on the third Monday of June, Take Your Cat to Work Day recognizes cats’ impact on our lives. 💗😸 This day was created to acknowledge just how amazing domestic cats are, promote adoption, and support local shelters, like Abandoned Pet Rescue! 🐈‍⬛🩷🩵 Pet Sitters International started Take Your Dog to Work Day in 1999, but Take Your Cat to Work Day wasn’t established until 2005!

While you may not be allowed to bring a cat to work today, volunteering at your local rescue could be the purrfect way to celebrate. 😻 Thanks to volunteers Kaylee, Olivia, and Charlie for spending time with our adoptable kittens recently! 🐈💕
