Velvet

Sweetheart is Velvet’s middle name. Velvet is a 10 years-year-old, 50-pound Staffordshire/Hound mix with a mellow, gentle, and affectionate personality. She’s potty trained, quiet in her kennel, and walks nicely on a leash. Velvet is dog-friendly but prefers calm dogs who won’t jump on her or overwhelm her. She would be a wonderful companion for a relaxed home and is happiest with people who enjoy quiet time and cuddles.

Velvet’s Story: One of our volunteers found Velvet near the train tracks and helped bring her to safety. Now she’s at Abandoned Pet Rescue, where she’s waiting for a peaceful home and a person to call her own.

Velvet is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and overall a healthy pup.
