Note: We are only hiring for the Kennel Technician (Large Dog Kennel) position at this time.
What We’re Looking For:
Age Requirement: Must be at least 19 years old to work in dog care.
Experience handling large dogs is preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
Comfortable working with large dogs that may have behavioral challenges, special needs, or require slow introductions to new people.
Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs, standing and walking for extended periods, and frequently working in bent positions.
Passionate about animal welfare and able to work with animals that may be stressed, fearful, or ill.
10-39 hours per week, schedule is flexible.
Kennel Technicians play a vital role in the care of our shelter dogs, ensuring they receive proper nutrition, enrichment, and a clean, comfortable environment.
This role also involves maintaining overall shelter cleanliness and assisting adopters and volunteers with strong communication and teamwork.
