Allergies, bowel disease, heart disease, arthritis, brain disease, senior issues, even cancer…what is the common denominator that came before all of them?
You’ve heard about it; seen it in ads for antioxidants. It’s called oxidative stress and it’s the most damaging cell killer in you and your pet’s body.
There’s a little-known pet supplement that is solving pet problems like these for over a decade, and you should know about it.
First, it’s important to understand what causes disease and aging in us and our pets.
What Exactly Is Oxidative Stress?
Simply put, it’s also called free radicals and is created in the process of cells converting nutrients into energy it can use, called ATP. That would be fine if it were the only cause of oxidative stress being created, because the body is so amazing, that it also creates antioxidants to maintain the proper balance of the two in the body.
But, oxidative stress is created by much more than that. Today, there’s a laundry list of what prompts the formation of free radicals in you and your pet’s bodies. Here’s just a few:

Whew! No matter where they (or you) turn, there’s something that creates oxidative stress. And, if an imbalance of free radicals to antioxidants eventually creates disease and aging, what do we do to keep our fur babies, and ourselves, healthier and living longer? Is this really possible?
What Can We Do About It?
There are a lot of products on the market boasting the ability to be powerful antioxidants. And, that’s what you need, a powerful antioxidant to weigh the tipped scales of free radical domination into balance.
Here are some:

Blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries – they’re all good antioxidants you and your dog could eat.

Vegetables like cooked yellow squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, steamed broccoli, spinach, kale, green beans are all great. Organic and not cooking to death are recommended.
Can food alone handle the load of shoring up your pet’s antioxidants so that balance between free radicals and antioxidants is manageable?
That depends. Most of us live with our pets in an environment where they’re exposed to toxins on a regular basis. It takes a lot of knowledge and effort to feed so cleanly as to reduce toxins enough or to manage your water system so it’s truly pure. Then, you have the toxins on the grass, in the air and any emotional stress, whether it be separation anxiety, an illness or stress in the home.
So, the answer is our pets need help above and beyond food. I absolutely recommend feeding fresh, organic fruits and vegetables that are good antioxidants to our pets (be careful as to what is ok for dogs but not cats and vice versa) and a raw food diet where the live enzymes remain in the food.
Vitamin C and E are our two strongest antioxidants to date.

Astaxanthin is a very good antioxidant you can give your dog or cat as a supplement. A rich red color, Astaxanthin belongs to a group of compounds called carotenoids that comes from micro algae. Its powerful antioxidant properties have been shown to be 65 times more powerful than vitamin C and 54 times more powerful than beta-carotene. It can reduce inflammation and strengthen the immune system.

Colostrum is a milky fluid released by mammals that have recently given birth before breast milk production begins. It’s an important source of nutrients that promotes growth and fights disease in infants. In supplement form, it can improve the immune response against certain viruses, support gut microflora and a healthy digestive system, improve bone and muscle function in older animals, and supportively treat periodontal disease in dogs and cats.

Green-lipped mussels are a powerful antioxidant. They are sourced in New Zealand, and are a natural source of glycosaminoglycans (GAGS). These are the main components of cartilage and synovial fluid found in the joints. They support joint mobility, cartilage maintenance, cardiovascular health and help maintain healthy skin, Green-lipped mussels are also chock full of omega 3 fatty acids, which if you’ve taken my course, you know is a critical amino acid needed for good health in our pets. If you’re going to choose a green-lipped mussels oil product, make sure it’s gone through a cold-extraction process, not a heat process as heat kills nutrients.

Phytoplankton is a super healthy food that helps remove toxins from the body, including heavy metals. It contains SUD or Superoxide Dismutase, a great antioxidant. Trace minerals in phytoplanton like selenium has been shown to prevent cancer tumors; magnesium supports heart, joint and neurological health and iodine supports a healthy thyroid, among many other things.
The Superhero Of Antioxidants
What if I told you there was an antioxidant that was so far and away more powerful at neutralizing the body (again, yours and your pets) of free radicals that it did it 172 times better than Vitamin C or E and three times better than astaxanthin?
There is and it’s called Carbon60 or C60 for short. It’s a form of the carbon molecule discovered by three scientists in the mid-80’s, for which they won the Nobel Prize in 1995.
But, it took two other scientists, Max Champie and Phil Catalano, who worked as a research scientist at NASA for over 15 years, to discover its health benefits.
In 2011, Max got a call from his son, who told him that his 88-year-old mother had early stage Alzheimer’s. She was forgetting and losing things and he was getting concerned. Max had been experimenting with C60 for a project he was hired to do as part of a think tank. He’d also read a study that a Spanish scientist named Fathi Moussa had done with rats, where they’d lived 1.5 – 3 times longer when taking C60.
Motivated by his mother’s health, Max got busy in the lab and within 30 days, he was on a plane with a beta C60 product to try on his mom.

The two of them started on a protocol, together.

Within 90 days, his mother took her driver’s test and got her license.

Within 120 days, she threw away her reading glasses, went back and told the DMV she wanted to retake her driver’s test without glasses for the first time since she was 42, and passed!

That success got around and family and friends came knocking. Max gave C60 to them to try which, at that time, was suspended in pure virgin organic olive oil. More successes poured in.

I knew I wanted to go to the source and talk to the scientist who found the health benefits, so I tracked Max Champie down, and we spent two hours on a Saturday morning talking. By the time I got off, I was vibrating with excitement. I looked at other companies, but Max and I talked about how pure the C60 is that he uses. It’s the highest purity, at 99.9%.
