It’s official, our big boy Marlin, after spending five years at APR, has officially been adopted. His new owners are extremely happy and very much in-love with him.
Marlin is a seven-year-old Akita mix whose life was saved just days before he was put down by animal control. When he came to APR he was rather temperamental and he found shelter life difficult. But a member of the APR Board of Directors to a liking to him and she, with her two children, was able to turn him into the now loving dog that he is.
His new family learned about him through JORDAN’s WAY and our friend Kris Rotonda during a LIVE Facebook broadcast just a few weeks ago. The family applied to adopt Marlin that same day. After several visits to the shelter and a home visit for Marlin he was officially adopted by Olive, Lee, and Lithuania. Be happy big boy. You will be missed.
Franky Blue Eyes has also found a wonderful home with a superhero adopter who fell in love with Franky’s affectionate personality and was not phased about his missing limb.
