CLEAR THE SHELTERS WAS AN AMAZING SUCCESS IN AUGUST. WE ADOPTED 27 DOGS AND CATS AND THANKS TO YOUR GENEROSITY WE WERE ABLE TO RAISE $10,000 WHICH WAS MATCHED $1 FOR $1 BY OUR ANONYMOUS DONORS GIVING US A TOTAL OF $20,000 TO CARE FOR THE ANIMALS. HERE ARE JUST A FEW PHOTOS FROM CTS.

The 2022 Starlight Musicals concert series was very successful again this year bringing in lots of donated food, cash donations more than $800 and most importantly continuing to spread the word about APR. Hopefully there are a few adoptions and new volunteers that came as a result of our volunteers chatting with folks in the park.
Speaking of volunteers, a big THANK YOU to Dennis, Cheryl, Gayle, Sharee and our two new team mates Jocelyn and Zach for covering our APR booth for 10 weeks. Concert attendees get to know us over the years and look forward to catching up with our volunteers when they drop off their donations.

LAKE RIDGE CLEANUP – APR volunteers joined our neighbors in the Lake Ridge Community and helped clean-up the neighborhood on Saturday, August 20, 2022 as part of Fort Lauderdale Cares Day.
