What are my parking options?
Free street parking is availabile along Flagler Drive. (Please do NOT park at Apartments or Storage business lot)

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No need to print your ticket. Pre-registering on Eventbrite will show on our records.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
Yes. It is okay if your ticket name does not match the person who attends.
Is this a free event?
Yes, the event is free! Suggested donations for cafe treats, coffee, tea, and lemonade; all proceeds will benefit Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR). Some local vendors may display cat/pet themed crafts and products for sale, and a percentage of their proceeds benefit APR. Donations at the door are welcomed in the form of credit card, check, or cash, and/or canned cat food.
What type of donations are needed?
Abandoned Pet Rescue is in need of canned cat food and/or small mice toys (no need for cat litter). Any monetary donations are welcomed for pet food, medicines, and other supplies.
How much are cat adoption fees?
The feline adoption fee is $60 for kittens under 1 year, $50 for cats over 1 year and $75 for two cats. All cats are spayed/neutered, checked for feline aids & leukemia, vaccinated and microchipped. Broward County requires all pets who will be residing in the county to carry a rabies tag, which is given with the 3 year rabies vaccine. Purchase your tag at Broward Animal Control.
What is the Abandoned Pet Rescue pet adoption process?
Pet adoption counselors will answer questions and provide applications at the event. For more information go to:

Will tours of Abandoned Pet Rescue be available?
Yes. APR will offer tours of the shelter rescue, which is next door to the event. Tours will be about 15 minutes and offered at 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Arrive early to learn more about APR’s adoptable pets, volunteer opportunities, or to meet your furr-ever friend!
Will there be dogs at the event?
We love and support dogs at the rescue shelter. However, dogs will not be at the Pop Up Cat Cafe event. Tours of the animal rescue facility next door will be available at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. We welcome all guests to join the tour, or visit the pets during operating hours at Abandoned Pet Rescue Fort Luaderdale.
