Every summer, the City of Fort Lauderdale Parks and Recreation Department presents the Starlight Musicals Concert Series at Holiday Park, located off Federal Hwy and Sunrise Blvd, minutes from downtown Fort Lauderdale. For more than 4 decades, these free outdoor concerts have provided a great way to enjoy the summer with family and friends in an outdoor setting. The series features an exciting lineup of bands covering pop, country, rhythm and blues, tropical rock, and more. The shows take place Friday nights beginning June 11 and continuing through August 13, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. on the football field at Holiday Park, located at 1150 G. Harold Martin Drive in Fort Lauderdale.
JUNE 11 — Caribbean Chillers (Tropical Rock & Jimmy Buffet)
*subject to change without notice
Each week Bank of America will feature a non-profit group to raise awareness of their program and goals. For the eleventh year, food drives will be held throughout the concert series to benefit food banks for people as well as pets. Non-perishable food donations will benefit The Pantry of Broward and Life Net 4 Families. Pet food donations will benefit Abandoned Pet Rescue.
Also this year, there will be a tent-free zone to guarantee visibility to spectators in the main area of the field. In addition, smoking will not be permitted on the south side of the field.
