Milo is living his best life after recently being adopted by Lonnie & Scott who drove from Orlando to adopt … specifically a Pitbull.Their previous dog made them adore bully breeds and when their dog passed, they wanted to add two pups to their life. On their drive down to Abandoned Pet Rescue, they stopped at another shelter where they fell in love with Nikki and adopted her. The next day at APR, she was properly introduced to Milo and the dogs had an instant connection. Now Nikki and Milo are inseparable and thriving in their new home. Lucy received her eye surgery on both eyes to correct Entropion, which is when the eyelashes are turned inward and scratch the eye. Lucy is about a year old, and she has been suffering with this condition since birth. An APR team member saw Lucy at a high kill shelter rubbing her poor face on a bare concrete floor and pawing at her eyes for relief. Abandoned Pet Rescue knew our veterinary team could help this sweet girl so she is now in our care.Lucy is feeling so much better and THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to helping her.
