The APR team has created a brand new Facebook page and we want you to be a part of it. Abandoned Pet Rescue Alumni was created so we can hear from our adopters. We want to know your stories. We want to see your photos.
As of this writing on the first of July 55 people have joined this group so far and everyone is excited to read about others and their stories and to post their own stories.
It’s simple to join. Just be an adopter and go to Abandoned Pet Rescue Alumni on Facebook. Click on the + Join Group button and the APR team will clear you for membership.
As our own Barb Demott says “we’re just trying to offer a little happiness and joy to the world. And they get to tell us all about it in their own words”

Today is Reggie’s adoption day! We got him 5 years ago from APR. he is now 10 years old. We love him so much. He has a great life! He will definitely be spoiled today!
Wiggy on vacation! ????⛵???? Adopted one year ago from APR. He is the sweetest and most cuddly cat, with fur like velvet. He’s a great little traveler.
4 years ago, today, this little monkey came into my life. Just a few weeks before, he had barely escaped the big needle at BCAC (he was code red) when he was rescued by the wonderful folks at APR.
Every time I look at him, I shudder to think of how close he came to being discarded like trash.
Harry is my love, my baby, my clown, my protector, and my heart ❤
He makes me laugh everyday, and he forces me to disregard the mundanity of the world by reminding me to always remember to play and have fun.
His demanded belly rubs are the highlight of both our days.

We adopted Brutus 4 years ago. My very first dog and now I will always own an English Bulldog. He’s brought so much happiness to our lives ❤????
Ok here we come…TABATHA AKA SUGARPLUM,sweet small siamese,as you see her left side is a little odd,something happened to her and s ok me teeth were removed,I remember I was asked if it was ok because she had that issue.i say I would love here more…and that’s how been,she is super adorable and ballbuster. Xoxo thanks APR to trusted me.she is living the best life with my other siamese MIA MATILDA,a tuxedo BLAKIE,and a grey tabby PAPPIE.the last 2 came into our yard and we rescued them..
