CompHealth employees collected an abundance of supplies for Abandoned Pet Rescue in memory of their team member Jim Rowinski who recently passed away. Jim was a longtime volunteer of APR and cared deeply about animals, so the supply drive was a wonderful way to honor his legacy.
The Orange Bowl Leadership Academy club at Sunrise Middle School in Fort Lauderdale collected donations for Abandoned Pet Rescue and created flyers to hand out on campus to raise awareness about the importance of pet adoption. They also made “Thank You for Adopting!” cards for new pet parents that adopt from the animal shelter.

The Easter Pet Pop Up at Salt7 Fort Lauderdale was the place to be on March 27, 2024 as many guests had a great time meeting Abandoned Pet Rescue’s cats and dogs while checking out a variety of pet vendors. Thank you to PetWellClinic and Salt7 for inviting APR to participate in this fun event!
