Our youngest daughter Gabi did her homework. She wanted to find an animal shelter that aligned with her ethics. She found it with Abandoned Pet Rescue. Gabi loved volunteering with APR; her favorite was the cat room. We lost Gabi to a blood clot in 2016; she was 22. But the wonderful people at APR have honored us by continuing to celebrate her life. We are very grateful.
